Pillar to Post wsg Abe Savas & The New Standards of Beauty and Brian Koeingsknecht & The Dirty Work

This is a 21 event with standing room only  Formed in 2005, Pillar to Post are heartland rockers who have been on the West Michigan scene for two decades.  Led by singer/songwriter Brian Koenigsknecht and featuring drummer Brad Frank (Willamena, The Mertons and Catharsis), bassist Jason Huber, Detroit guitarist Geoff Stockton (Atlantis Theory, Jacob Root) and bassist-violinist  Mike Fuerst (Knee Deep Shag, Corn Fed Girls) who was a member for the first couple years as well as contributing to the band’s debut and only album “Nowhere Left To Fall”.  Their anthems speak to the underdogs, the loners, and the lovers.  Koenigsknecht infuses even the harder rocking songs with a sense of melancholy, but there is always some optimism, a feeling that better things are right around the corner, and love can still grow even after  the the heart lies in smoke and ashes.

Quasi Kings w/ Highdeas

This is a 21 event with standing room only Formed in Columbus, OH in the Spring of 2016, The Quasi Kings have quickly “cemented [their] place as the sprawling, multi-instrumental next generation of Columbus reggae.” (Columbus Dispatch). The band, led by brothers Zach (vocals, saxophone, percussion) & Benny Coleman (vocals, bass), varies in age, musical backgrounds, and taste, leading to a worldly & distinctive collage. Their premier offering, 2018’s Throwaway Culture EP, features catchy hooks, tight vocal harmonies, and a unique blend of reggae, rock, and hip-hop. Their latest album, Eye of the Storm, takes things a step further with songs like “Booze”, a raucous Sabbath inspired tune, and the dubby, horn driven “Cut It Out”. Their live shows are high energy, captivating and ever-evolving. The Quasi Kings have had the privilege to play with the likes of Dirty Heads, Steel Pulse, Badfish-Sublime Tribute, Fortunate Youth, Third World, Israel Vibration, The Werks, Dark Star Orchestra, Tropidelic, and more. Stephen Marley Presents Babylon By Bus Tour wsg Subatomic Sound System

2023 Bell’s Beer Garden Summer Concert SeriesThis is a 21 and over event.Standing Room Only “Anything that sounds good is good,” says Stephen Marley, paraphrasing Duke Ellington. Don’t be surprised to hear the King of Reggae’s son referencing Harlem’s master of the jazz orchestra. Never one to limit his musical horizons, Stephen has always listened without prejudice, letting his inspiration set him free as a singer, songwriter, musician, and producer—whether collaborating with his illustrious musical family, or with Lauryn Hill, Nas, or Erykah Badu. Beginning his lifelong musical journey at the age of six, Stephen shared historic stages with his legendary father and toured the world with his brother Ziggy and sisters Cedella and Sharon, The Melody Makers. The Tuff Gong instilled in all of his children a strict work ethic and an awareness that “music is way more than just music.” Over the past 45 years, Stephen has won no fewer than eight Grammy Awards—three with The Melody Makers, twice as a producer of his younger brother Damian Marley, and three times as a solo artist. Every one of his solo projects to date has topped the Billboard Reggae charts. Stephen Marley’s place in music history is already secure. He does not really need to push the envelope, to defy expectations, to let the whole world into his world. And yet that is just what he’s decided to do. Stephen Marley’s highly anticipated new single Old Soul just dropped on his birthday April 20, 2023; the first work off his new studio project in 5 years which is set to release later this year –and comes as a complete revelation and many new surprises. Stephen is excited to bring another ‘Babylon By Bus’ Summer Tour on the road this summer!! Stay tuned for more updates and music coming soon, visit stephenmarleymusic.com for more information.
